Trauma and Tension Releasing Workshop with Kelly Zarcone at Black Mountain Yoga
Kelly's Trauma and Tension Releasing Workshop will teach you to safely use TRE (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises) as a lifelong tool for personal healing and reducing stress. TRE uses a specific technique to release stress and tension from the body that accumulate from everyday and prolonged stress, difficult situations, or traumatic life experiences.
A Powerful Self Care Technique, TRE benefits your body, mind, and nervous system in many ways:
-
Regulate and Relax your Nervous System
-
Reduce anxiety and stress
-
Increase Energy
-
Build more resiliency for difficult situations
-
Manage and process emotions easier
-
Achieve deep muscular relaxation and athletic recovery
-
Overcome physical and emotional trauma
More about TRE:
TRE is an innovative series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.
TRE is based on the fundamental idea, backed by research, that stress, tension, and trauma is both psychological and physical. TRE’s reflexive muscle vibrations generally feel pleasant and soothing. After doing TRE, many people report feelings of peace and well-being.
Leave knowing how to use TRE in your everyday life!
Hosted by Kelly Zarcone, Somatic Trauma Therapist, and Massage Therapist.
Trauma and Tension Releasing Workshop is $40 per person. No experience is necessary. Contact: www.blackmountainyoga.com

Get ready for an intimate, fun, and energetically revitalizing women's wellness getaway where you get to reconnect, relax and raise your personal vibration. What does it mean to 'rewild'? Rewilding means to return to a more wild or natural state; it is the process of undoing domestication. Inside each of us is a “wild” inner nature, that includes a mindset that is characterized by curiosity instead of fear, awareness instead of distraction, and passion instead of apathy. Rewilding is an approach to living a more holistic life. You will bask in the moonlight, soak up the sun and salt water, nourish your body with healthy vegetarian meals, and pamper yourself until the day is done! All skill levels are welcome.

Sacred Grief Circle
with Clare Duplace at
Be Well Black Mountain
Very Limited Spots Available
Reserve your spot with Clare at her email below soon at:
A note from Clare Duplace:
A monthly circle to gather, to be with the stories of our lives, to be with our grief stories as a practice in holding both grief and gratitude as we walk in this life.
Together we will hold a commitment to creating a safe and sacred space to explore our grief through storytelling, mindfulness, art, writing, and poetry.
We will hold ourselves and each other in understanding, acknowledgment, permission, and surrendering. We will create spaciousness for resilience, renewal, and release. By allowing space to be with what has been and is arising for us, we can see how there is room for both grief and joy in our lives.
The cost for each circle will be $35, but no one will be turned away for any financial challenges. This cost covers the rental of space, time creating content, and holding the circle and supplies. Please contact me if finances are challenging. Guidelines will be given out for each class so that we may collectively create safe and supportive space together. Sharing is always optional! No previous meditation, art or writing experience is necessary.
We will be working in a small space so capacity is limited to 10 participants. Emailing me ensures you a spot and I can let you know if there is no more room per session.
In deep gratitude,
Clare

Gentle Restorative + Singing Bowl Sound Bath with Anisha
at Black Mountain Yoga
Enjoy an evening of gentle movement, restorative yoga and sound healing by candlelight, combined to give participants a therapeutic experience. Join Anisha Fraser and Michelle Befus for an evening of Gentle Restorative Yoga practice, breath work, and a Crystal Singing Bowl Sound Bath, cultivating balance and ease in the body and mind. Restorative yoga is the practice of letting go, releasing, and looking inward. During a sound bath, sound and vibrations are used to adjust the breath, heart rate and brain waves to naturally shift your consciousness to a more relaxed and meditative state of mind. It is in the meditative state that you will be able to access a deeper state of consciousness through your restorative practice. Combining these two practices stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, decreases stress, and allows for deep relaxation. As the body and mind calm, increased mental clarity, changes in physical sensations in the body, and a deeper connection to one's intuition may be experienced.
The practice closes with the sound of pure silence experienced through Savasana.
No Yoga or Meditation experience is necessary - all are welcome!
Gentle Restorative + Singing Bowl Sound Bath is $45 per person with a limited capacity. Contact: www.blackmountainyoga.com
