Kelly Rose Zarcone,
LMBT

Somatic Experiencing Trauma Therapist | CranioSacral Therapy | Integrative Bodyworker
When working with Kelly, people consistently share feeling held by her compassionate care, inspired by her insight, and safe enough to let go in her grounded presence.
She teaches people how to release stress and trauma by listening to their bodies and developing a deep and lasting relationship with its wisdom. Her work is all about teaching and supporting the body to self correct through various sophisticated techniques and well researched methods rather than a “fix it” (or let’s fix you) approach. You will learn how to attune to your body and nervous system, learn to relate to it through various practices, and have the space to release both tissue restrictions and somato-emotional content. She comes to this work from a deeply personal experience with suffering and learning how to overcome it. Specializing in sexual trauma, she has helped countless people come to terms with difficult experiences, and move toward joy and safety.
As a licensed massage therapist she has over 10 years of experience integrating cutting edge bodywork modalities with somatic trauma work spanning across a variety of fields. She is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), a three year program focusing on the nervous system and trauma healing. She has apprenticed in myofascial release and currently studies CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute and is in mentorship with one of Dr. John Upledger's long time students.
In her private practice she offers Somatic Experiencing and TRE sessions, Integrative massage, Myofascial release, CranioSacral Therapy, and SomatoEmotional Release bodywork. She also regularly facilitates workshops and helps teach at retreats. Learn to trust your bodies wisdom again through her integrative approach to healing.

Transforming our struggles into our strengths is where we all have the opportunity to find both power and peace. Like many other healers, my deepest traumas and wounds led me to discovering my gifts and calling as a healer. We are living in a time where the call to move through old patterns and reconnect to ourselves, to each other and the planet is getting stronger, louder and more intense. Now more than ever, we need trusted guides, sacred spaces and community to support our transformation as individuals and as a collective.
“As within, so without, as above, so below, as the universe, so the soul.”
- Hermes
Our internal world is connected to what is created in the world around us. By regulating our nervous system, expanding our consciousness and finding personal meaning and peace within, we can change our frequency. That frequency has a ripple effect that extends in all directions and is healing not just for ourselves but also for our ancestors, our descendants and the planet as a whole.
It may feel selfish to do deep inner work when it seems like the world is on fire—but it’s actually the medicine. It’s easy to feel stuck, sad, angry, overwhelmed, constricted and even afraid. For many of us, we’re finding we are no longer willing or able to stay stuck in that place. Old ways aren’t working anymore.
In my own journey as well as in my work with clients, I've found that integrating multiple modalities like intuitive energy healing, breathwork, guided meditation, movement, parts work and other mind body practices provide the safety and space to regulate our nervous systems and cultivate extraordinary growth, healing and spiritual connection.
Together, we’ll assess what blend of services will work best for you according to your needs and level of comfort including intuitive reiki and energy healing, somatic tools, breathwork, mantra, goal setting, coaching, movement and parts work. It will look different for each person and even different in each session. All of my services can be offered in individual, single sessions in person or distance by phone or zoom. My favorite is to integrate them in what I call Soul Alchemy sessions over multiple weeks or months where we can go deeper over time and allow integration between sessions.
If you’re not sure where to start or have questions, I also offer a free 20 minute discovery call. I’m excited to be working in Black Mountain again in this beautiful space with so many gifted healers and look forward to connecting. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me kayaking on a local river, walking trails within view of the water, snuggling with my crazy dogs, spending time with friends and family, staring at the moon and clouds or planning my next adventure.
